DISCOVERY HEALTH MEDIA PARTNERS WITH ACCENTHEALTH TO PROVIDE ORIGINAL PROGRAMMING TO PHYSICIANS’ OFFICES NATIONWIDE

Discovery Health Media Enterprises and AccentHealth today announced a new content partnership. AccentHealth, the nation’s only health TV programming service to provide health and wellness content to more than 10,000 Physicians’ offices across the country, now features a customized block of Discovery Health’s original programming initially focused in the areas of early childhood development and healthy cooking. Senior Medical Contributor for Discovery Health, Dr. Mehmet Oz, will join the Discovery programming block as host later this year, providing viewers with valuable health and wellness information through AccentHealth waiting room services. Discovery Health joins AccentHealth’s current schedule of programming with content produced by CNN and hosted by Dr. Sanjay Gupta and Robin Meade.
