Dr. Sanjay Gupta is the multiple Emmy®-award winning Chief Medical Correspondent for CNN. He plays an integral role in CNN’s reporting on health and medical news for Starting Point with Soledad O'Brien, Anderson Cooper 360°, and CNN documentaries; and anchors the weekend medical affairs program Sanjay Gupta, MD. Dr. Gupta is a practicing neurosurgeon at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, and Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery at Emory University School of Medicine. He has co-hosted AccentHealth since 2003.
